The Cheremosh Ukrainian Dance Company and the Cheremosh School of Dance have been hosting the Cheremosh festival since 1984. Every year, more than 3000 Ukrainian dancers gather at St. Albert’s Arden Theatre to perform at the Cheremosh Ukrainian Dance Festival. The festival gives children from all over Canada the opportunity to perform and share their passion for Ukrainian dance in a positive atmosphere. The festival generally takes place during the 2nd weekend in May, and over its four days, more than 600 performances take place. The Cheremosh Ukrainian Dance Festival is proud to be one of the largest of its kind in North America. It is a rewarding, constructive and enjoyable event, and each year it is highly anticipated by Ukrainian dancers of all ages.
The 2010 Cheremosh Ukrainian Dance Festival will take place on Thursday May 6 through Sunday May 9.
